a PVC is a persistent volume claim. These are the datastores where openshift 
applications can write their data to.
Yes, auto-scaling will work when prometheus is installed. But in the current 
version autoscaling is handled by hawkular (openshift-metrics playbooks when 
you are installing it)

Hi,
I tested it on our test cluster and it was running very good.
As far as I know it should replace hawkular in one of the future releases to 
handle autoscaling.
Depending on the size of your cluster have a look at the PVC. Prometheus wrote 
a lot of data in my previous tests.
