Hello Ashwini ,

I was having this exactly same problem in my CentOs 64 bits just a couple of
days ago.

In my case the problem was very simple.

I was not supplying correctly the mysql password on opensips.cfg

mysql://[username]:[passwo...@localhost:mysql/opensips")

regards

Jair Santos

Subject: [OpenSIPS-Users] Problem Starting Openser

hi all,

Happy New year to all of You

Coming to the point. I am using Centos 5. I upgraded the openser-1.2.2-tls
to openser-1.3.4-tls. But i am not able to start the openser using

1. /etc/init.d/openser start

[r...@localhost /]# /etc/init.d/openser start
Starting openser:
[r...@localhost /]#

it just shows Starting openser and quits.

2. /sbin/openser start

I am having the same problem as above.

3. /sbin/openserctl start

it shows error

database engine 'MYSQL' loaded
Control engine 'FIFO' loaded

INFO: Starting OpenSER :

ERROR: PID file /var/run/openser.pid does not exist -- OpenSER start failed

As per openser documents the files and paths are right in place.

Thanks in Advance
