Hi Gonzalo, aside the dispatcher module, there is under work a real "load-balancing" module - the difference is that the current dispatcher module is simple doing probabilistic dispersion of the calls over a set of destinations - it is not actual considering the load of each destination when selecting the destination to use.
The new Load-balancing module will keep trace of the calls, monitor the load of each destination and will deliver the new calls to the least loaded destination. I'm pushing the devel of this new module in order to get it into the new 1.5 release.
