If it's all done on the kernel level, then RAM won't really matter
either correct? No need for massive amounts, just good NIC cards and a
decent processor id assume, correct?

Taking into account that mediaproxy does not handle the RTP, because all what
it does is to insert contrack rules into the kernel ... I see no improvements
on running more that one instance per server.
