I'm not a Mediaproxy developer but I could say that that article it's totally worng. First, it's a 3 year old article, things changes. Second, no matter if that was a test 3 years ago ... 3 years ago and today Asterisk DOESN'T SCALE, and it's not a good solution as rtp proxy, it haven't been a good solution for that ever. Asterisk "it's good" for other things .... but not for media-proxing. I could only say that the one that wrote that artcile doesn't have any idea about what he was writing, moreover taking into account that it doesn't give any test results or either describe a test scenario, it seams only to talk that way because "someone else told him to do so" ...
