Solved it...  I had MP 2.4.2 installed on the CentOS system.  We all agree 
that's a no-no for now.  When I re-installed MP 2.3.8, it didn't really 
re-install.  I was running a 2.4.2 dispatcher and 2.3.8 relays.  The dispatcher 
crapped out from time to time with an ICE-related error.  Makes sense.  I had 
to manually remove the /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/mediaproxy directory 
and /usr/bin/media-* before re-installing 2.3.8 the last time.  Seemed to do 
the trick.
