Hi Robert,

OpenSIPS running as a forwarding proxy is just about using the t_relay / forward function. Now, as you noticed, you can use opensips in various scenarios, so it is impossible to have examples on everything :).

Now, regarding your inbound calls - I guess these are calls from main proxy, through opensips, to the UAC. Where exactly your call fails ?

Regards,
Bogdan

I know there is probably a lot of seasoned people on this list -- and I am new at OpenSIPS with experience in Asterisk / FreeSwitch / PortaOne.

I read the cookbooks and looked at examples.

I need to find a way to set OpenSIPS up as a proxy on an offset port and pass the registration on to another system.

I was testing using rewritehostport -- and that got me registration and outbound calling -- however I cannot get inbound calling. Assuming this is a NAT issue.

Anyone have any good sample configs for making OpenSIPS run as a simple forwarding proxy?
