Hi Gill,

For building the Username in RURI (username*dialed) you need to do scripting (based on who's calling and where). Now, to decide where to sent the call, you can use dispatcher (which changes only the domain part of the RURI, so it will not mess up the username you set).

Regarding the accounting, OpenSIPS just generated CDRs (see the acc module), it does not do billing.

Hi Everyone

Thanks in advance for the help!

I am a total noob to opensips I have read the 1.6 book though.

I am having issues routing calls to SIP Providers. I have inbound working but no outbound.

I was told to try using dispatch but I am not sure how to send the call to my provider with the right syntax. The syntax I need is USERNAME*dialed_number@provider_domain.com <mailto:dialed_number@provider_domain.com>

Any help/tutorial on routing calls would be appreciated.

Also I am trying to do accounting on inbound calls with a different rate deck. Do I need to make a route for inbound calls that tellsit to use inbound rate deck?

Thanks again!!
Gill
