Hello,
That's really weird - seems that somehow you've disabled your shared
memory support in the Makefile.conf ?
Did you use the menuconfig tool or did you somehow manually edited the
Makefile.conf file ?

Hi,
Hardware requirements:
There are no minimum hardware requirements for OpenSIPS. It will
run on an ordinary PC. The best bets we have are from performance
tests realized on the 1.2 version. A PC with the following
specifications was capable of 28 million complete calls per hour.
The testing server was an ordinary desktop---Intel(R) Core(TM)2
CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz, 1 GB of memory, and 100MBps Ethernet card.
Unfortunately, there are currently no formulas for OpenSIPS
dimensioning. The correct hardware, CPU, and memory shall be
obtained empirically.
Refrence : building telephony system using opensips 1.6( book )
Regard
Sami

Hi,
Looks like i'm having some memory problems on my server while
trying to install OpenSIPS:

I'm using 1 GB RAM:
[root@li278-128 1.8]# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 1003 944 59 0 257 601
-/+ buffers/cache: 85 918
Swap: 255 0 255
Is there a hardware prerrequites doc for OpenSIPS?
Thanks
