Hi DAle,
with 1.11, the easiest way will be via mi_xmlrpc-ng (XMLRPC via HTTP) or
via mi_json (JSON via HTTP).

This is a rather delayed response, I realize. Currently we load the
"mi_fifo" module to get statistics via opensipsctl. Do you think it's
better to use "mi_xmlrpc" instead? Or is there really any difference?

Hi Dale,
opensipsctl is actually using the MI interface via FIFO backend to fetch the
statistics (it is just a wrapper script). I would suggest to do it directly
(not via opensipsctl) and chose the best fitting backend:

Hello,
I'm thinking of using opensipsctl in a nagios probe to track share
memory usage. What, if any, overhead is there in using opensipsctl?
How often can I use it without negatively impacting anything? Anyone
have any best practices?
