The database gets created but there are no tables in it. I can run
'opensips-cli -x database drop' and that works alright. I've got to be

I haven't yet tested that code on Debian 10, so we may be dealing with a
bug here.
Did you make any customizations to your ~/.opensips-cli.cfg file, or any
other similar ones? (e.g. /etc/opensips-cli.cfg)
By default, the CLI should create the DB without requiring any config
file customizations.
