Hi,

I have to disagree as have not even once cried when learning SIPping ;) past 
decade.
But I agree that its the best way to learn properly, at least for me, learn by 
doing.

And some times it will help to understand config logic better if you can 
understand the source code.

One more thing I have found very useful is when you’ve bee banging your head 
against wall try to explain your problem  to someone it might reveal something 
you have not thought by your self earlier… ( When you do this prepare to found 
out new feelings about how stupid I am not thought this at first place etc...)

Thanks a lot for taking the time to respond. Incidentally, I had read the book 
a few months ago and took a look at it again yesterday. It has good details on 
scripting and integrating with Asterisk. Will have to do some trial-and-error, 
as usual.
