I have several smtp servers running postfix and policyd, and I recently started seeing "whitelist=bypass" messages in the log on some of them:
Aug 25 12:00:31 ldap6 policyd: rcpt=3250964, whitelist=bypass, host=218.19.36.97 (unknown), [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], size=0 Aug 25 12:00:31 ldap6 policyd: rcpt=3250965, whitelist=bypass, host=141.157.24.109 (static-141-157-24-109.balt.east.verizon.net), [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], size=0 Aug 25 12:00:31 ldap6 policyd: rcpt=3250966, whitelist=bypass, host=66.79.190.184 (picturestarfish.com), [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], size=0 I searched the archives and saw someone else asking about this but there was no definitive answer, just a request for more information. I've checked my configs and whitelist/blacklist databases and I don't see an obvious difference between the servers showing this log entry and the ones that don't. Has anyone seen this before? What are these log entries telling me? _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.policyd.org/mailman/listinfo/users
