I am new to policyd and am trying to decide which to install: v1 or v2. My requirements are:
1. throttle based on sender without having to add all thousands of senders to the configuration 2. web gui for configuring the above I see on http://policyd.com there is support for a Quotas module but it doesn't say what flavor it is for. There is a phppolicyd program (for v1 I presume) but it appears to have bugs and I don't know if it supports sender based throttling. It does not seem to be documented. There is a patch to get amavisd to work with v2 but my Debian stable version of amavisd-net is not one of those which there is a patch for, and the documentation does not say if it will work without amavisd or how to work around this. I think I would be better off with v1 because it is more mature. Does it support sender (envelope) based throttling? If so, how?
