I've noticed an increase in spam together with FEWER hits on my spamtraps recently. I don't have statistics, just an impression, so I might be wrong. Have the spammers started removing undeliverable addresses?
I've started wondering whether rejecting (as opposed to just discarding) mail to spamtraps is a bad idea. It seems that if I want to discard, I need to patch policyd, since the reply (reject) seems to be hard-coded. I'm running postfix-policyd-1.80-2.3 as packaged by debian lenny. Is there an option to discard (rather than reject) in newer versions? If yes, does anybody know where I can get ready-built .debs? Here is line 77 from policyd.h: #define POSTFIX_SPAMTRAP "action=reject Policy Rejection-" _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.policyd.org/mailman/listinfo/users
