We are experimenting with policyd and are experiencing the exact same
behaviour as mentioned in this thread:

After checking the version we run it seems to be the same version. There
is a patch posted here:
http://lists.policyd.org/pipermail/users_lists.policyd.org/2010-August/003099.html
However it's not possible to download the patch. I've tried googling for
it but couldn't find it.
So is there any chance that someone have this patch available and I
could get a copy of it? It would be very nice if that's possible.
