question: did i understand it correct how policyd v2 works ? will that configuration make me acchieve my goals ?

Just remember multiple policies can be matched, you can use exclusions to negate matches. I don't see any problems on a first look, apart from a possibility of a mail matching more than 1 policy.

    Hi Nigel,

Yeah ... just get it working with 2.0.14 with no problem at all with the configuration i imagined. Just reforced the 'negative' rules to make sure nothing would be matched twice, as you adviced. It seems fine by now.

Right after that, i upgraded to latest 2.1 snapshot, expecting that "MessageRecipients" would have been implemented, as i found you mentioning it on May/2011 on the mailing lists. Unfortunelly, it has not been implemented yet, not even on the git repository, so i have to stick with MessageCount.

last question: when populating my internal_domains group, the help popup shows me to use '@domain.com' to match the domain. That's OK. I was looking for matching subdomainsas wellas some domains have LOTS of subdomains like 'xxx.domain.com'. Will using '.domain.com' matches domain and its subdomains or i really need to add the subdomains one by one ?

There is quite a few matching possibilities listed on the wiki, best to check there for everything supported.

I could get subdomains matched using '@*.domain.com', despite the fact this is not documented. Anyway, it seems to be working fine.

    Thanks for your reply !
