Yes, but not what I would consider out of the ordinary for 1000+

On the policyd servers, definitely. CPU utilization goes to 100%.
You also did not provide information as to what version you're using.
Can you try with a git checkout?
We were running what is on the policyd website, which we would assume is
what it recommended.

We're now seeing these errors reported by cbpolicyd:
Can't call method "get" on an undefined value at
/usr/local/lib/cbpolicyd-2.1/awitpt/cache.pm line 256.
Apparently, there are some schema changes that need to be applied.
