The Kirzhnits, Maximov, Khomskii formalism has long been recognized as a more viable alternative as a weak-coupling model for BCS superconductivity with respect to Eliashberg-McMillan in that it directly employs the overall charge density and eigenstates of a given extended quantum ensemble, rather than their second derivative. Has anyone in the community coded KMK as a post-processor for PWscf output?
