Many thumbs up on this comment.  Systemd is the biggest pain in my backside
right now.  I barely, if at all, noticed a difference between EL5's vs
EL6's startup daemons.  And they'd been the same since who knows how long.
Systemd seems to be taking the Microsoft route on making command syntaxes
unnecessarily long, no straight up config files that could be edited, etc,
etc.  Sadly, I have a sneaky suspicion that Systemd is here to stay within
the EL world (at least for the foreseeable future).
