Hello All-
I FINALLY found a combination of RSEL7 and Emlid Realtime Kernel that
works properly! Unfortunately I only got this working under Rasperry
Pi 2, but it works. That's a good thing since we can eke out more
performance from 4 cores.
For some definition of performance. Pre-emptibility means more context
switching which actually reduces throughput. Presumably you are more
interested in latency being as low as possible rather than throughput
being as high as possible.
Sometime today I will have a SD card image for people to try out. The
SD card contains development tools as well as all updated packages as
of today. Where can I upload this to?
I'm currently shuffling disks around in the primary server. If you send
a link where I can download it from, I can upload it to the server
tomorrow. Please make sure the image is suitably sanitised (passwords
blanked, no additional users, home directories, mail spools, no sshd
host keys, etc).
