Found the patch in question. Turns out it's a rather trivial
#ifdef (__arm__) type one. Thanks for the hint. :)

nss-softokn updated. Now on to Firefox...

I saw you bugreport on mantis. that was the next thing I wanted to

IIRC the FTBFS were similar on EL7 and EL6 for nss-softkn.

It took me some time, but for EL7 I found a patch in the end. So please
have a look at that.

Thanks Jacco.

Before anyone mentions it, I'm trying to get the latest FF to
build on EL6, but it needs patching like all the others before it,
and it has a dependency on more recent nss than what we have built,
and the more recent ones have a FTBFS regression. >:(

I'm hoping the situation is less frustrating on EL7, haven't had
a chance to look yet.

This update now also found it's way to updates-testing of EL7:

Hello:

FYI a recent vulnerability just came out for Bind, and there has been an
update released upstream:

I am sure there is interest in getting the new package. I would be
happy to test once it can be built and released.

Thank you again for your efforts and help.

Best,
