As I see it /firmware on git is the uboot/bootloader/raspberry board specific 
stuff.
That is pre-build/pre-compiled and is just copied in the spec file.
The ./linux is the kernel stuff and that is certainly compiled by the spec file

I will do the devel build sub package. I was just lazy and copied Jacco's spec 
file (with some modifications in the raspberrypi2 spec to make it work :P )
