No problem, just let me know when I can synchronize all the stuff
(svn-1.7.6, svn-tools, svn2cl, so on.)
As I realize recent changes are untested for now.

Actually, we would like to have svn-1.6 and svn-1.7 branches working under
RHEL4.. (if possible)

On RHEL5 and above, both branches should be working, it's a mandatory
requirement!
