I was wondering the same thing. According to CentOS wiki
rpmforge/reprofoge is not maintained anymore.

But haven't seen an announcement on the website that that the repo is
dead? And all current howto's etc still seem to be pointing to use
rpmforge/reproforge.
Even I don't know the status of the project :)
Let's presume it is dead, until proven otherwise.
