Roundmail can be used to check mail against any IMAP mail server that you want, 
and as many as you want (I have 4 servers in my config). Most users use it to 
check just one (ie localhost). 

You could check to see if Yahoo supports IMAP. To my knowledge, they only 
support POP3, but I could be wrong. If they did support IMAP, you would just 
input the server name in your config. Be warned, unless you block new user 
registration, than anyone who has a Yahoo POP account could start using your 
server to check their mail!
