I have UW-IMAP. I have existing folders that I don't want to use
or convert. In my test the Inbox is displayed but no existing
folders. I'm sure this is probably configuration but any advice
would be appreciated. The folders are in a directory structured
like so:
/var/spool/vmail/virtual.domain/imap/virtual_user/mail

Great... and have you specified this path in the main.inc.php file?
If you mean $rcmail_config['imap_root'] = 'mail/' I tried that and
it didn't help. I did get rid of the folder Inbox in the list, the
folder list was empty.
So I created a new user to play with. Created folders "New
Folder/Sub Folder" and "New Folder/Sub Folder 2". I see these
folders in the list. Checking the UNIX file system I see these went
to /var/spool/vmail/virtual.domain/imap/virtual_user. I don't see
anything in the DB that looks like it stores folders. So now my
question is why doesn't the folder "mail" appear in the list of
folders for the existing user?
BTW, I'm using the recent CVS release from the SF FRS.
The answer is that I must go to the Folders tab of Personal Settings
and Subscribe to each folder. It would have been nice to have a
"Subscribe All" feature.
