RC log nothing about this error.
Also, you may want to play with this setting: $rcmail_config['smtp_auth_type'] = ''; Change it to: $rcmail_config['smtp_auth_type'] = 'AUTH'; or $rcmail_config['smtp_auth_type'] = 'LOGIN';
Nothing change playing with those settings.
