Two off the top of my head guesses : It is possible the SMTP process needs to be awakened or swapped in. You may have configured an option in you main.inc.php that then makes your SMTP server fall back to some other connection mode causing delay. > Another question, how do I adjust the columns on the index page? > If you resize the window, the Subject column changes size.
