Using tis:// has the same problem: Connecting to tsl://imap.gmail.com... IMAP connect: NOT OK(Login failed for **** from 74.110.63.15. Could not connect to imap.gmail.com:993: Connection timed out)
Also, I do have IMAP enabled for this account, as iMail and Sparrow can both retrieve the emails from the account, as well as various other ones.
