Ouch, that hurts, Benny. My concern is that I'm not totally comfortable
that my solution is elegant. I gave some though to forking the current
version, but I'm not really a "developer" and don't know if I would be
able to support something like this going forward, either.
All that said, I appreciate your concern, so I will take a look back at
what I did and post the diff here instead.
