All scenarios I described in my previous post have been encountered with the very same browser and browser version (IE 8.0.7601.17514) which hasn't - deliberately and for testing purposes - been updated since months (years?). So if all of a sudden folder names are not shortened in 0.9.x anymore (but truncated instead), although they have been shortened with exactly this same browser and browser version before, how can this be a browser issue? Especially as in 1.0 they've been never shortened (but truncated always), as being described in my previous post. Therefore it looks more like an RC issue to me.
