Hello I have Roundcube 0.9.5 installed on Debian 7.6. Due to it was slow I read a tuning guide which recommended installing Alternative PHP Cache for apache.
ii apache2 2.2.22-13+deb7u3 amd64 Apache HTTP Server metapackage rc php-apc 3.1.13-1 amd64 APC (Alternative PHP Cache) module for PHP 5 ii php5 5.4.4-14+deb7u12 all server-side, HTML-embedded scripting language (metapackage) I installed and enabled it with pretty much default config and I think it did improve on the performance of the server but users started experiencing problem with the search function of the mails. I'm not 100% sure it was caused by APC. Errors: - Roundcube search sometimes when find messages is not able to open them - Messages which were moved from the Inbox to other folders manually are not appear there - When opening a specific letter (result of a search) it loads in another one in its body After these errors I decided removing APC and manually deleting roundcube's index files.
