Sorry this was written strangely. I meant: 

This was my thought, except the vhosts it complained of and the directory does 
not exist : /var/www/webmail12.ex.co.uk <http://webmail12.ex.co.uk/> and was 
changed to /var/www/webmail10.ex.co.uk <http://webmail10.ex.co.uk/> in the 
vhosts and the actual directory.
