We've been using the rpmforge repos for quite a few Perl modules and
recently we've discovered that the el4 build of Proc::Daemon no longer
seems to be included in the meta data files (and thus can't be
downloaded via yum).
I did a quick search of the archives but didn't find a mention of it
being removed, and the el5 build is still available, so I'm just
trying to find out if there was a conscious decision to remove it or
if it got ignored for some reason.
Thanks for any insight you can provide.

http://rpmforge.sw.be/redhat/el4/en/i386/rpmforge/RPMS/perl-Proc-Daemon-0.03-1.2.el4.rf.noarch.rpm
Could you tell me exactly what the problem is ?
As I stated, the rpm isn't in the meta data and therefor can't be
installed via yum:
# rpm -q rpmforge-release
rpmforge-release-0.3.5-1.el4.rf
# yum install perl-Proc-Daemon
Setting up Install Process
Setting up Repos
rpmforge 100% |=========================| 1.1 kB
00:00
Reading repository metadata in from local files
rpmforge : ################################################## 6734/6734
No Match for argument: perl-Proc-Daemon
Nothing to do
Thanks again,
Bob
