Hi!

I am having a problem when running DVD::Rip. When trying to rip a dvd, I press the Read DVD table of contents-button it never returns with the toc.

The log says it is running:

Mon Aug 25 22:05:22 2008 Start job 'Read TOC (lsdvd|tcprobe)'
Mon Aug 25 22:05:22 2008 Start job 'Read TOC (lsdvd)'
Mon Aug 25 22:05:22 2008 Executing command: execflow lsdvd -a -n -c -s -v -Op \/dev\/dvd 2>/dev/null && echo EXECFLOW_OK

When running that command manually I get a ton of output which seems correct (I am not sure how it should look, but it lists information about the dvd)

The dpendency check says:

  Program              Version
  -------------------------------
  dvd::rip             0.98.4
  transcode            1.0.6
  ImageMagick          6.0.7
  ffmpeg               SVN-r12135,
  xvid4conf            1.12
  subtitle2pgm         0.4
  lsdvd                0.16
  rar                  3.51
  mplayer              1.0
  ogmtools             1.5
  dvdxchap             1.5
  mjpegtools           1.9.0
  xine                 0.99.4
  fping                2.4
  hal                  0.4.2
  -------------------------------

and the progress details says:

Read TOC (lsdvd|tcprobe)                        0.00% finished
        Read TOC (lsdvd) 0.00%, elapsed 03:49
        Read TOC (tcprobe)                      Waiting
                Determine number of titles      Waiting

I have tried different versions of dvdrip, and it seems the same happens in both 0.98.4 and 0.98.7 (and the versions between). I use Centos 4.6.

I have checked on the dvdrip-mailinglists and there seems to be several reports of this, but no solutions. The reason I am posting here is that it seems this happens on Centos-systems (both 4 & 5)

Any ideas? Can anyone successfully read a TOC? In that case, can you post the result of the dependency check?
