Yum recently updated rdiff-backup from version 1.0.5-1.el5.rf.x86_64
to 1.2.2-1.el5.rf.x86_64 and our backups started failing. We got
errors about "regressing destination", but the FAQ entry on this error
did not help us: http://www.nongnu.org/rdiff-backup/FAQ.html#regress_failure
Also moving our old backups and trying to start over did not work.
Multiple people looked at the issues and in the end we went back to
1.0.5-1.el5.rf.x86_64 (and excluded rdiff-backup from our rpmforge yum
config) and backups are working again.
Anyone else succesfully using rdiff-backup-1.2.2-1.el5.rf.x86_64? Or
should we report this upstream?
