I have never used that repo myself, I instead use Jason's "utterramblings"
repo since he also supplies a bunch of php modules also compiled for what he
releases. I don't believe CentOS do that.
Jasons repository has not been updated for more than a year.
I would recommend http://blog.famillecollet.com/ instead.
