I wonder how you even use this stuff under EL4/5. I tried it awhile ago and it kept crashing every so often. Lacking a better solution I did a private dirty butt-ugly rebuild of libcurl, libtorrent and rtorrent so now I'm running rTorrent 0.8.4/0.12.4 and it's *rock solid* (hanging around for months!). I wonder whether it's possible to build a static version of libcurl so that one wouldn't need or update a system libcurl (quite a few things depend on it)... If yes, then we could update rTorrent & libtorrent altogether w/o hurting anything. -- Sincerely yours, Yury V.
