The problem is that this package is not compiled but simply unpacks a binary and stuffs it into an RPM. The binary provided needs GLIBC_2.4 and will not work on CentOS 4. > There's other stuff I'd like to install (such as flash 10) that > depends on glibc 2.4, but the latest glibc I can find for CentOS 4.7 > is glibc 2.3.4. Perhaps glibc 2.4 is coming in CentOS 4.8? No. Glibc update is something you will propaply never see in CentOS. > _______________________________________________ > users mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.rpmforge.net/mailman/listinfo/users financial.com AG Munich head office/Hauptsitz München: Maria-Probst-Str. 19 | 80939 München | Germany Frankfurt branch office/Niederlassung Frankfurt: Messeturm | Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage 49 | 60327 Frankfurt | Germany Management board/Vorstand: Dr. Steffen Boehnert (CEO/Vorsitzender) | Dr. Alexis Eisenhofer | Dr. Yann Samson | Matthias Wiederwach Supervisory board/Aufsichtsrat: Dr. Dr. Ernst zur Linden (chairman/Vorsitzender) Register court/Handelsregister: Munich – HRB 128 972 | Sales tax ID number/St.Nr.: DE205 370 553 _______________________________________________ users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rpmforge.net/mailman/listinfo/users
