nodeps installing 1.4.3 seems to work. I do now encounter what's
described in RH Bugzilla #437558, but that problem doesn't seem
build-related. I'll see if I can check if the patches that fixed this
bug in EPEL (which builds an older version) work against your rpms as
well.
