I actually built an rpm for a new ImageMagick on a CentOS 4.x box a while back (maybe 4.4, it was a while back) for image scanning on mail servers. The list of dependencies that needed to be updated was pretty large. In the end, the update to 4.5 or 4.6 broke it and I never went back and did it again, it was just too much work for such little gain. -- Regards...
