Hi Jessie,

strongswan-4.3.4/src/stroke is just a wrapper script. The actual
executable is found in

  strongswan-4.3.4/src/.libs/stroke

This is generally the case with all build executables and libraries.
Always copy them from the corresponding .libs subdirectory.
