Hi All,
I tried to form a site-site tunnel between rouTer1 and router2.
Router1(Cisco) =============== Router2(Strongswan).
I have configured transport mode in Router1 and tunnel mode in Router2.
I have triggered IKE negotiation from Router1 and I am expecting the
Strongswan
to send failure, since encapsulation modes are different on the routers.
But Strongswan is not throwing error and negotiation is success.
Whether its an expected behavior or any standard which talks about this?
Please help me out.
