Perhaps you figured this out yourself already, but for the record: With 4.5.0 the default value for the keyexchange option in ipsec.conf changed from ikev1 to ikev2. This means that you have to explicitly set keyexchange=ikev1, otherwise your connection will not be known to pluto.
