I am running our of ideas of what could be checked further and how to fix it.
The setup was perfectly working under strongswan 4.3 and works well for other
connections and even with the Win8 roadwarrior (behind the NAT).
Could you go throught once again through the logs and probably suggest to check
someting else?
sorry, I can't see why it doesn't work for the NATed case. I can't help
you there.
Perhaps you can switch back to strongswan 4.3 and check if there's a
difference between the routing tables, routing policies, iptables rules,
ipsec SAs or ipsec policies which get installed by the two strongswan
versions.
