I've been reading up on it from Carlos Sanchez's weblog http://www.jroller.com/page/carlossg/20050420
and I've got all the dependencies sorted but (and I've never used annotations before) when I try to compile with Maven it chokes on every annotation saying that it doesn't recognise the class @Entity or whatever (rather like I would have expected it to with jdk1.4). Has anyone got it to work?
