I can't speak for the guys working on eclipse integration at mevenide, but for netbeans my current plans are as follows. 1. "finish" m1 integration, supporting both 1.0 and 1.1. release a final major version of mevenide for m1. 2. write a m2 plugin to build netbeans modules (so that mevenide for m2 can be build using m2). I've started here, but gave up,I just need better docs for writing plugins. 3. evaluate m2's libraries and their stability and usefulness for the IDE integration. possibly write custom libraries. 4. write basic netbeans project setup to allow loading m2 projects into IDE. 5. everything else, like pom editor, m2 plugin editors, debugger/profiler/j2ee support... all these don't have any schedule of course. it's just a hobby.
