Hi Samuel,

You can use the properties element to set the value of a property in a resource file through the pom's properties section.

#sample.properties
samle.property=${hello.value}

pom.xml:
<properties>
 <property>
   <hello.value>HELLO</hello.value>
 </property>
</properties>

You can also use it to declare properties/variables that you can use on your plugin configuration, etc.

Regards,
Deng

Hi,

just wanted to know how to use the "properties" in the POM (the one
defined under project/properties)

I tried something like:

<properties>
<property>
 <name>a.name</name>
 <value>a.value</value>
</property>
</properties>

but it does not work...

And then can reference the properties in the POM like that ${a.name} ?

Thanks,
