Mike,

'/' at the end must be allowed because if you use modules and you have '/' at the end, maven will append scm url and module name if you don't specify it in module

Neil, your SCM URL should NOT end with "/...". I add that internally.

Subject: Perforce testing needed

All, I now have a version of the Perforce provider which works on Continuum 1.0.2 in my own basic testing. I would like to have a few hardy volunteers to download the patched jar and try it on their own build by placing it in apps/continuum/lib and restarting Continuum. I'd advise you to backup the old version but since that one didn't work, what's the point? :-)

Fails for me.

I see the definition of the clientspec in continuum.log. Seems the
problem is with the view you're setting.

When I manually run "p4 client -I" with the following output, which is
cut-and-pasted from the log:

Client: continuum-background-nrp1
Root:
/usr/local/src/java/continuum-1.0.2/bin/linux/../../apps/continuum/worki
ng-directory/16
View:
        //depot/osc-fingerpost-dispatcher/.../...
//continuum-background-nrp1/...
Description:
        Created by maven-scm-provider-perforce

I get the output:

Error in client specification.
Incompatible wildcards '//depot/osc-fingerpost-dispatcher/.../...' <->
'//continuum-background-nrp1/...'.

Replacing the ".../..." with "..." creates a valid client, but I don't
know if that will then work with continuum.

This is p4 server 2005.1 - don't know if that's the issue.
